We’re all footloose and fancy free until the cracks start to show
This is the story of how one little crack led to a lot more and then to the birthing of a brilliant idea
The Heelalujah Story
It all started in 2014 when a beautiful blue-eyed baby was born. His mother Jodie was overjoyed that she could finally reach her feet again, but she couldn't believe it when she saw how terribly dry and cracked they were.
This is the moment when Jodie Weerts began her search for a solution to an all too common problem: dry, ugly feet and cracked, painful heels. What started during pregnancy had become an ongoing problem.
Sure, there were cracked heel creams and ointments out there, but none of them worked for long, and all of them left her linen sheets looking like a festival flag long after the last band had left town.
What if there was something that kept the cracked heel cream in place while walking the dog or doing pilates?
After years of trialling, testing, mixing, researching and testing some more…AT LAST! Jodie could finally put her feet up with a smug little smile, and Heelalujah was born!
It's a simple 3-step process, starting with removing the dead skin with a pumice, applying the nourishing wonder balm and holding the smooth nourishing it in place (not smeared on the floor) with the custom sockette.
